Stephen Page is a veterinarian who commenced his career with 5 years as a clinical tutor at the University of Sydney ambulatory practice in Camden.  During this time he was able to cultivate his passion for appropriate use and stewardship of veterinary medicines and enhance his knowledge of pharmacology. This was followed by 4 decades of working for or consulting to the animal health pharmaceutical industry in various roles from discovery and research through to drug development, regulatory affairs and technical support, based variously in Australia and the US.  He has had the opportunity to work on teams that lead to the marketing approval of more than 100 veterinary medicines.

Stephen is member of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) antimicrobial resistance working group, the World Small Animal Veterinary Association Therapeutics Group and the Australian Strategic and Technical Advisory Group on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).

For the last 15 years he has been involved Neoculi whose sole objective is the discovery and development of novel antimicrobial agents to meet the increasingly dire unmet needs of animals and mankind for effective agents that control infectious disease.  CEA StAR is well positioned to make an enormous contribution in helping solve this wicked problem.
